SASS Fiesta Food Fair 2017

It was a Fiesta of a carnival!

Like previous years, our parents banded together to showcase a myriad of sumptuous food and adrenalin-packed games for the boys to enjoy. And what a memorable day it was!

The aim of the food fair is to raise funds for SAPTA Cares, a SAPTA initiative that continues to helps our boys financially in school .

Passing on the Torch

The year kicked o with the traditional Outgoing Principals Farewell and Incoming Principals Welcome Ceremony and Dinner on 20 January 2017, held at The Singapore Island Country Club.

This year was different because we had to sadly bid farewell to Mrs Wong Bin Eng and Mrs Lucy Toh and welcome both Ms Patsy Neo and Mrs Marian Tan to the St Andrew’s family. It was indeed a touching event with the passing on of the batons to the new principals with the poignant “Keep the Flame Burning Brightly Ever Ceremony”, where we acknowledge the truly amazing work and contributions of the previous principals over the years.

We were all also extremely blessed to be able to welcome the new Principals too. The guests also played the game “How well you know your outgoing Principals?” – a game that tested participants on what they knew of the principals.

The other invited guests included present and past Exco members of SAPTA.
