Password confidentiality

I've received emails from two website members who expressed alarm that their passwords were displayed in the email notification sent to them.

Please note that these email notifications, welcoming new members to Sapta.net, are sent to the registrants only.

Your login name and password are provided in the email for your information only. No one else, including site administrators, are copied on these emails.

Your passwords are also encrypted in the site database, so no one can see members' passwords at any time.

I hope this post reassures everyone that your chosen password is kept confidential and private on this site.

I have amended the email notifications to highlight these points as well to forestall future concerns.
