Themes - Choose your own (for now)
I've uploaded a few "themes" for the site to see which would be most suitable for us, in terms of functionality, aesthetics, etc.
I've temporarily set permissions for all registered site members to choose your own themes, so please select and play around with the various themes and see how you like them.
Once we reach a kind of consensus, I'll fix the theme that we decide is most suitable. I'll create an online poll for us to vote.
One of the main considerations is the background colour of the header, as our SAPTA logo is white. So if the header area is a dark colour, then we'll have to modify the logo, if allowed, to fit the colour. I'm not sure if we can do this, so need your advice on any policy regarding the logo.
The themes are different in that some are two-columns while others are three-columns, layout-wise.
Anyway, have fun checking them out :)
Actually, it was there all the time. My bad :)
The choice of themes to choose from is further down the screen in the My Account section.
Choosing a theme affects only your account, not the main site visible to others who will see the default theme.
Please note that this is only temporary until we settle down on a theme permanently for the whole site for everyone.
The reason we're doing this at this time, letting members choose their own theme, is to get your feedback on how you want the site to look like.
So let us know which is your favourite theme and why. :)
While I activated the option to allow users to change themes, I am not able to see this anywhere in the menus.
Please let me know if you are having trouble with this. I will troubleshoot this a bit later. Sorry if it causes you any frustration ;)
